The Inspector General is Matt B. Phelps, P.E., R.S.

As an engineer Mr. Phelps has more than 10 years experience with high wind design and has worked extensively in testing and evaluation a variety of building materials and assembles.  Mr. Phelps is formerly the Chief Engineer of The City of Austin/Travis County Environmental Health Services Department.
